Running 1.6.10

Found this great painting by my Dad. I'm ready for my next running challenge!

Starting off with a Bang...

Ran 3.5 miles today. I got my new Nike+ sensor and boy have I missed it! It was a good run, not a great one. My time was a little slower than expected, but I did it with the very windy Wednesday. I have been doing my situps and pushups & Jillian Michaels kicks my butt on DVR.

Keep it coming.

2010 New Years Resolutions

2010 will be year of new beginnings. It is a new decade full of fun and adventure. I have decided to write down all of my resolutions for the year & see how many I am successful with.

* RELATIONSHIPS:
I would really like to deepen my relationship with my husband, family, & friends, & even myself. I want to be more positive and open to new ideas. These relationships fulfill me and make me a better person. I realize that at the end of the day relationships are what keep you going & make you stronger.

* HEALTHY LIFESTYLE:
This is the year to get healthy, feel healthy, and look healthy! I want to eat fresh, healthy food to make my intestine and tummy better. I also want to follow up with all of my doctors to promote health (dermatologist, dentist, acupuncture). I want to keep up with my running since last year wasn't a successful year of this with the wedding planning; loose those last 8lbs. I would really like to do a half marathon or two with some fun runs in between. I also want to start up yoga again to help with stress and flexibility.

* CLEAN, ORGANIZE, DECLUTTER:
After living in a small apartment I am so ready to go through the basement and get rid of more crap. I want to live simple and organized. This is when I feel the best. I want to organize my closet, clothes, holiday items, etc. This year I hope to sell old things through garage sales, craigslist, buffalo exchange, and goodwill. I love to recycle my clothes & have other people enjoy them. I would also like to organize my kitchen items and dishes. Lastly, my fills for 2009 need to be completed and put into folders. Good bye 2009!

* MOVE:
Find a larger place to move into with a yard, Washer/Dryer, closets, storage. Is that too much to ask! Buy a house next year and start a family...had to say it.

* GET PROMOTED:
Love my job at Nordstrom and want to continue to move up with the company and eventually move up to corporate would be great.

*BLOGGING:
I want to continue blogging and do a much better job this year. The end of last year was bad with the wedding again. But I really want to blog on line about my life, changes, enjoyments, & training.

*VACATION:
Need I say more....

We will see how fast I complete all of these items
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Things to get:
New Bedding
New rug for living room
Nike employee store for new running supplies and shoes
New Apt
Mason Pearson brush
TV Stand

Goodbye 2009...It was a good one!

2009 is over!
Another year gone by..
The highlights of my year are:

* I got married! I love my husband and I love being married. We had a longer engagement than I wanted but everything turned out completely perfect. Thanks to all of my friends and family for being there to enjoy our special day and for all of your hard work in prepping.

* Mom got to visit me in Cali before I moved back to Portland. We had a fantastic time exploring the OC, LA, and Santa Monica. I am glad to be back in OR but I sure do miss the sunshine of CA.

* Reunited with an old friend and got to see her two times this year. What a special relationship and to pick back up right where we left off 15 years ago. She was even the photographer at our wedding. I love you Dana!

* I lost a very important family member. My wonderful Uncle Bob Supensky passed away on March 4th. He had a massive stroke. Dad went out to Dayton to visit his family for a while. I was sad that I couldn't make the funeral but my thoughts and prayers are with my aunt June and cousins always.

* Started working at Nordstrom and have had several promotions since then. The experience has been great!

Lets see what 2010 will bring me.
Cheers!
